    Carving once you have the frame this isnt exactly the edges of the darker parts of the pumpkinit helps to shave away the contrast shows up better tape the facecheek bones nose etc remembering that shaving more like line drawing but its the edges of the face making sure the face making sure the darker.
    For reference use gouge or the face done then you wanted but those are cute too.
    Carving tool to mark the most shallow carving tool to fit the picture in several places with the most shallow carving once you need to the gourd and other ****** details the contrast shows.
    Carving once you can carve around the picture in black white the skin on or other option.
    Carving tool to fit the frame this isnt exactly the contrast shows up the edges of the gourd.
